Steeley Dan is a sweet, and I mean sweet, 6-8 month old puppy with an adorable personality.  He was dumped on a stretch of highway with swamp on either side.  It is hard to believe he survived.  This handsome pup was starving, searching for food and water.  Our volunteer attempted to rescue him, but he ran away from her, scared.  She got back in her car and drove off, then noticed that Steeley Dan was running behind her car, as if to say he had changed his mind.  She stopped, and he became very still as she picked him up to place in her car.   He is an affectionate, loving little boy that deserves a second chance.  Steeley Dan is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, tested negative for heartworms and loves to play with other dogs.  He is searching for his best friend and has high hopes that he will find you soon.  Please contact VetAdoptions@gmail.com for an adoption application.
