I am so sick of hearing Judge Joe Brown's comments and characterizations of pit bulls.
Several months ago I was watching a show that was about a pit bull attacking another dog. A direct quote from that show..."A Pit Bull is the human equivalent of a psycho."
My comment: If you don't 'know' all pit bulls, a generalization and small-minded comment such as the one above shouldn't have one ounce of merit. I was infuriated after that show!
I just happened to be watching on Friday, January 30, 2009...another show about a pit bull attacking another dog (a chihuahua), the chihuahua lived, but the pit bull was put down. A direct quote from that show..."You have to be responsible for these monsters."
My comment: If the pit bull was really vicious, that chihuahua would have disappeared, and would have been a snack for the pit bull.
I turned on the T.V. today, mostly out of curiosity, and again a show about a pit bull attacking another animal, this time a cat, the cat lived. A direct quote from this show..."Pit bulls are dangerous...You have a psycho in your house...He is not a good dog."
My comment: Again, if the pit bull was dangerous/evil, the cat wouldn't only be missing a leg, it would be missing - Period. And, who are you to say that the dog is NOT a good dog?! He may be a Judge, but he's not the authority on all dogs, including pit bulls.
