Bark: Dog speak, especially when being ignored
Beg: The sad and pathetic look we give when we want some of your food.
Bicycles: You look like you want to be chased - I love to chase!
Bite: Misunderstood...we are simply sharpening our teeth
Bone: A common leftover from your meals.
Cats: Questionable. Sometimes I think I might like you, sometimes not so much.
Choke Chain: An irritating necklace that causes me to cough and choke.
Collar: Another necklace-type, this one causes rashes and rub-burns.
Dog Bed: Perhaps my most favorite rest spot. It is preferable to have several located throughout the house.
Drool: I'm feeling enticed by something delicious...sorry about the puddle.
Fireworks: Booming frightening sounds that are annoying
Growl: A polite way to tell you to back off!
Leash: A long strap (usually held by my owner) that keeps us within 6 feet of each other.
Lick: Self-cleaning mechanism
Sniff: A "must" for all new introductions and a way to tell if you've been faithful.
Snoring: Usually accompanied by deep sleep
Sofa: My version of a bed
Squirrels: Exist just to taunt me, oh how I love to chase!
Whine: My way of letting you know I have 'business' to do or I need some attention, NOW
Whistle: A potentially piercing sound often made by humans to attract attention (I think)
