The photo you see is Odie...an American Bully who was sitting on death row in an Alabama shelter. Bama Bully Rescue was able to pull this guy out and ultimately save his life. However his battle doesn't end there, you see Odie came to us sickly with a number of issues - runny eyes, infected ears, coughing, and infected testicles. Odie was moved to a very loving foster home, but even that and a trip to the vet, two different antibiotics, and cough medicine still didn't make him better. Odie continued to get worse (symptoms increasing and not wanting to eat) and had to go back to the vet where he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia.

Odie has so far had a few more trips to the vet where he is receiving IV antibiotics under his skin and fluids. He has shown much improvement, but still is in the process of recovering. As of now (June 14) the total is $500 - which has been well worth it considering Odie is showing signs of improvement and is beginning to act as a healthy dog should. Odie's vet visits are not over, and once he is healthy he will still have to be neutered.

We ask that you help Bama Bully Rescue cover the medical expenses for this wonderful dog who is just now learning what it is like to not be neglected and live in a place where the people there truly love him and look out for him.
